Sonic Migration: Fantom Opera and Sonic Blaze Replaced by Sonic Mainnet and Testnet

Sonic Testnet is now available on Tatum, replacing the legacy Fantom Opera Testnet, and Sonic Blaze Testnet networks. Sonic Labs has completed the migration to Sonic, with Sonic Mainnet now serving as the primary production network and Sonic Testnet as the recommended testnet environment for developers.

The previous fantom-mainnet, fantom-testnet, and sonic-blaze networks should be replaced with sonic-mainnet and sonic-testnet in Tatum Gateway. We recommend updating existing integrations as soon as possible to avoid disruption.

• Fantom Opera Mainnet sunset: Fantom Opera Mainnet is being sunset by Sonic Labs on June 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM GMT.
• Fantom Opera Testnet and Sonic Blaze sunset: Fantom Opera Testnet and Sonic Blaze has already been sunset and should no longer be used for new development.
• Sonic Mainnet replacement: Existing fantom-mainnet integrations should be migrated to sonic-mainnet.
• Sonic Testnet replacement: Existing fantom-testnet and sonic-blaze integrations should be migrated to sonic-testnet.
• Migration required: Existing integrations using Fantom Opera or Sonic Blaze endpoints should be updated to the corresponding Sonic endpoints.
